KARACHI, Sept 4: Two ships carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where half a dozen ships including Anna-E, Cap Colorado and Oel Transworld with containers, Ocala to unload urea .Memphis and ECE-A with Oil and for bunkering were berthed after the departure of three.

The departing ships were led by APL Chicago, Ann-E and a cement loader, while CEC-A, Caribbean Carrier-1, Cap Colorado, Katerina, Kota Puri, Memphis and CEC Faith are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was fairly brisk as the total swelled to 121,000 tons comprising 42,915 tons of export cargo and 78,416 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Friday: Harmony and Calvin P. Titus with containers.
