JACOBABAD: Man ambushed

JACOBABAD, Sept 2: Unidentified armed men gunned down a man near Begari Sindh feeder canal in the jurisdiction of Ghouspur police station late on Monday night.

Mumtaz Shaikh was going somewhere when a group of armed men ambushed him and escaped. He died instantly.

Police reached the place and moved the body to hospital for autopsy after which it was handed over to the family.

Ahsan Shaikh, Mumtaz’s cousin, lodged an FIR at Ghouspur police station against Sabir Ogahi, Hakim, Amanullah and two unidentified men.
