KARACHI, Sept 2: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers, crude oil and palm oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, three more ships carrying palm oil and wheat also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Nine ships, Rosa-M, Bernice, Orient-II, Mare Atlantic, Chem Star Hero, DL Aster, St. Mark, Sinar Agra and Gem of Rozi, were busy in loading/offloading containers, cement, crude oil, palm oil, wheat chemicals and coke.

A cargo volume of 55,544 tons comprising 30,231 tons of import and 25,313 tons of export tonnage was handled.

St. Mark, Sinar Agra and Chem Star Hero sailed out while Rosa-M, Mare Atlantic, DL Asler and Bernice were expected to leave the port on Tuesday.
