Middle Exams result

KASUR, May 7: The result of middle standard examination, 2002, was declared here on Tuesday.

Muhammad Amin of Pakistan Model High School, Kasur, secured 1st position (830 marks) while Allama Iqbal Cadet High School’s Ali Saeed 2nd (822 marks) and Muzaffar Ali 3rd (821 marks).

Among girls, Allama Iqbal Cadet High School’s Waqarun Nisa secured 1st position (811 marks), Hooria Majid 2nd (806 marks) and Ayesha Akhlaq 3rd (804 marks).

According to a notification of EDO (education) office, around 7,219 candidates appeared in the examination. Of those, 5,600 got through with a percentage of 77.6.

INJURED: Four people were shot at and injured by as many assailants in a bus near Miankey Morr on Tuesday.

Muhammad Sharif and Ahmad Raza had an enmity over a litigation issue.

On Tuesday, Raza and his friend Gulzar were going by a bus when Sharif and his three accomplices intercepted the bus and resorted to indiscriminate firing.

Raza, Gulzar and two other passengers sustained injuries.

The Phoolnagar police have registered a case.
