KARACHI: Overflowing sewage

Published September 1, 2008

KARACHI, Aug 31: Filthy water gushing out of various choked sewerage lines inundated a number of major thoroughfares of Saddar and the old city areas on Sunday creating hindrance in the flow of vehicular traffic, besides causing an unhygienic environment.

The roads and streets where sewage has accumulated include Sir Aga Khan III Road, M.A. Jinnah Road (near Amma Towers), Tibet Centre, a portion of Zaibunnissa Street, Fatima Jinnah Road (from Trinity Church School and Musical Fountain), different streets of Bohri Bazaar and many other roads in the old city areas.
