Power cable thieves held

MIRPURKHAS, Aug 27: CIA police on Tuesday arrested three people on charges of stealing power cables and found 800 kilogram of cables in their possession.

Reports said that CIA in-charge Malik Qamar Zaman along with a team raided Majeed Lashari village in the jurisdiction of Dilbar Mahar police station after receiving a tip-off and arrested Imdad Ali Lashari, Saifullah Lashari and Hidayatullah Lashari.

HUNGER STRIKE: Paramedics continued hunger strike on the second day on Wednesday outside the press club, seeking implementation of service structure and provision of jobs to the sons of retired and deceased employees.—Correspondent
