DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 24: Unidentified people fired rockets at the site-camp of a canal construction company in Rajanpur late on Saturday.

The rocket attack damaged heavy machinery.

Outlaws targeted the camp of D-Baluch Construction Company at Sigri in the border area of Rajanpur district. The company is working on the Kachhi Canal.

A company spokesperson, Malik Farid, told Dawn that some outlaws inflicted heavy losses during the midnight attack and destroyed a lining machine, bulldozers and an excavator in the rocket attack.

The Rangers were on guard for the security of the workers but the outlaws fled from the scene.
