Man robbed of Rs3.9m

LAHORE, Aug 23: Robbers deprived a man of Rs 3.9 million in Defence B police limits on Saturday.

Four robbers stopped Muhammad Aqeel near Rehman Villas and looted Rs3.9 million in cash from him. Aqeel was returning home after withdrawing the money from a bank.

In another incident, four robbers looted Rs500,000 in cash from a motorcyclist Muhammad Younas in Ravi Road police limits when he was returning after withdrawing it form a bank.

A group of seven robbers looted cash and cell phones from 11 people at a picket in limits of Raiwind city police.

Police said the robbers stopped one Khalid Mehmood, who was going to his village, near railway crossing and took him to nearby fields where 10 citizens were already confined. The robbers collected Rs24,500 in cash and five cell phones from them and fled.Two robbers stopped one Kashif and Afshan in limits of Gulshan-i-Ravi police and deprived them of cash and jewellery worth Rs300,000 while as many robbers snatched Rs37,000 and cell phone from Muhammad Hanif in Raiwind city police precincts.

Three robbers looted Rs3,200 in cash, cell phone and motorcycle from Ghulam Serwer in Chuhng police limits while one robber looted Rs30,000 in cash, two cell phones and a wrist watch from Naseer in Iqbal Town police precincts.

Adnan Saddique was deprived of Rs100 and cell phone in Lorry Adda police limits Irshaad Ali and his family was deprived of cash and jewellery in limits of Ichhra police.

Four robbers barged into Usman Mobiles on Shalimar Link Road and took away Rs50,000 in cash, eight cell phones and two cameras. —Staff Reporter
