RAWALPINDI, Aug 19: A Shia religious leader, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, has condemned the terrorist attack in Dera Ismail Khan and announced a three-day mourning of the killing of over a dozen innocent people.

Tehreek-i-Nifaz-i-Fiqh Jafria (TNFJ) chief Agha Moosavi addressing a gathering here on Tuesday, said that colonial powers and their agents were involved in the incident.

He asked the government to provide security to the people.

The TNFJ chief demanded immediate arrest of the culprits of the incident as well as the killer(s) of the Tehreek leader Sardar Mumtaz Ali Qazilbash who was killed by unknown persons last week in Peshawar and give an exemplary punishment to the culprits.

He also demanded compensation for the victims and probe of the incidents through a tribunal.

He appealed to the people to foster unity in their ranks and thwart every conspiracy of the enemy against the country.

TNFJ secretary-general Advocate Syed Mazhar Ali Shah has summoned a meeting of the organisation to review important matters and programmes for Ramazan.
