NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 19: A man alleged to have student to buffaloes from a house was shot dead in Arbab Bhutto village on Monday night.

Three men barged into the house of Arbab Bhutto and took away two buffaloes. The inmates woke up and finding the buffaloes missing they followed the footprints.

As they approached the men, they opened fire, killing one of them. The other two escaped leaving the buffaloes behind.

On Tuesday afternoon, relatives and friends of the deceased, Arbab Pinaro, led by his son, Mehboob and Abdul Jabbar and Ashraf Pinaro kept the body on the National Highway bypass and burnt tyres and blocked the road.

They alleged that Gullan, Suleman and Arbab Bhutto called Arbab Pinaro from his house and later they killed him. They said that they went to Fareed Dero police station but the police did not register their FIR.

Due to Urs of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, there was heavy traffic on the highway and this blockade resulted into a massive traffic jam for about one and a half hour.
