PNCP advice to Musharraf

Published August 16, 2008

LAHORE, Aug 15: The Pakistan National Christian Party (PNCP) has called upon President Pervez Musharraf to desist from confrontation with the elected government and resign.

An appeal to this effect was made during a meeting of the party central executive committee held here on Friday with M Joseph Francis.

A resolution adopted by the committee said the problems being faced by the nation were the result of eight-year ‘misrule’ by President Musharraf. The henchmen of the president were trying to subvert government’s efforts to solve the problems, it said.
