KARACHI, Aug 14: Mohammad Usman and Farah Ilyas won the boys and girls singles titles in the Independence Day U-18 table tennis event on Thursday.

Results:

Boys’ singles (final): M. Usman bt Salman Shahid 11-7, 10-12, 11-8, 9-11, 11-7.

Third place play-off: Bilal Afridi bt Raheel Saleem 5-11, 11-9, 11-3, 11-7.

Semi-finals: Salman Shahid bt Bilal Afridi 8-11, 12-10, 11-9, 8-11, 11-3; M. Usman bt Raheel Saleem 11-7, 13-11, 11-5.
