Cash looted, car hijacked

 NAUSHARO FEROZE, May 6: Five dacoits looted Rs 5,94,500 and snatched a Corolla car on the bypass near Bhirya town on Sunday night.

According to reports, Ashfaq Mughal, owner of an electronic appliances shop in Khanpur, along with his brother Amanullah and friends Masood Arain and Rafaqat Ali was on his way from Khanpur to Karachi in his car (BRA-3737).

Some five unidentified dacoits, riding in another car, intercepted them and looted Rs 5,94,500 and also snatched their car and fled away.

A case has been registered by Bhirya Town police.

MOTORCYCLE: Three accused snatched a motorcycle (NF- 2526) on Lakha-Halani link road near Halani on Monday.

According to details, three unidentified armed men, snatched a motorcycle from Wahid Bux Sahito when he was going to Halani.

Wahid Bux was severely beaten up when he tried to resist.

In another incident, three unidentified robbers snatched one motorcycle from Abdul Qayoom Pirzada on Tharushah-Babar link road on Monday.

COP INJURED: One police constable was injured in an encounter with dacoits near Kandiaro on Sunday night.

According to details, during patrolling, a police party of Naushahro Feroze saw three armed men on the road and challenged them.

The armed men opened fire on police mobile as a result of which constable-driver Ghulam Shabbir was injured, while the armed men fled. Constable Ghulam Shabbir was admitted to Kandiaro hospital.
