Bridge contest starts today

KARACHI, Aug 1: The Aslam Memorial bridge championship will take place under the auspices of Karachi Bridge Association at the Aslam Bridge Hall on Saturday (today).

The registration of teams will begin at 1.30pm and the competition will start at 2.30pm.

Meantime, the Karachi Club arranged a mixed-pair contest the other day, in which 18 pairs took part.

Ziaullah Baig and Qudsia Dossa won the contest with 64 per cent score. Syed Ameer Hasan and Shahina Leghari finished second with 61 per cent score.—PPI
