ISLAMABAD, July 28: The Federal Sports Ministry has sent show cause notices to 12 sports federations for violating the sports policy and has asked a number of their office-bearers to quit posts before Aug 20 or face strict action.

This was informed by the Federal Sports Minister, Najamuddin Khan on Monday at the sub-committee meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Sports.

The Federal Minister pointed that “show cause notices have been sent to the sports federations while a rejoinder will be sent again so to end the monopoly created by the federations’ officials.”
