KHAR, July 27: Two people including a woman were killed and one person received serious injuries in an exchange of fire between two groups over a land dispute in Salarzai, Bajaur region on Sunday.

Rustam Khan and Sayed Mohammad groups resorted to exchange of fire over a land dispute as a result one person from both sides was killed and one Sayed Badshah was injured critically. The deceased were identified as Syaed Mohammad and wife of Rustam.

The injured was rushed to the agency headquartres hospital Khar, where his condition was said to be stable. A jirga of local elders later brokered ceasefire between the warring groups. The political administration after registering a case had started investigations. —Correspondent
