RAWALPINDI, May 5: Five members of a family were killed while another was injured in a road accident on Kahuta Road, on Sunday.
Police said a car (RIK-5308) carrying six members of a family to Kalar Syedan plunged into a roadside ravine when its tie-rod collapsed.
Abdul Razaq, Naseem Akhtar, Gulzar Bibi, Tasneem Akhtar and Allah Dita died on the spot while Mohammad Tanveer, who had been driving the vehicle, was shifted to a hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, in another incident one person was killed and another injured when a truck crashed into a car near Jatli.
