KARACHI, July 25: Seven ships carrying containers, general cargo and to load molasses and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Creek, Hyundai Baron, Ninth Ocean, Pac Antlia to unload and containers and Lalazar to offload crude oil were berthed on Friday.

Sailing was also on the higher side as seven ships, APL Cairo, Cape Colorado, Northern Harmony, Global Progress, Asdrubal, King Douglas and Tom Ship departed, while Ninth Ocean, Pac Antila, Han Spriner, Creek, Atma, Flag Investor and Lalazar are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 109,000 tons comprising 37,046 tons of export cargo and 72,286 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Oriental Marguerite to load ethanol, Tigeroula to load molasses, Quasar with crude oil, Cosco Lian Yun Gabg, Saigon Express, Hansa Liberty with containers and Sargodha with general cargo.
