KESC beat NBP in PPFL

KARACHI, July 23: Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) beat National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) 2-1 in the third Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match played at the Korangi Baloch Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The match remained one all at half-time after KESC’s striker Lal Mohammad struck in the 35th minute and NBP’s midfielder Abbas Ali scored in the 44th.

The balance tipped in KESC’s favour in the 87th minute when a pass from their left-out striker Abdul Ghafoor was easily converted by the striker Aurangzeb.

Thursday’s fixture: Habib Bank Limited v Pak Steel at the Peoples Sports Complex at 5.30pm.
