MIRPURKHAS, July 23: Additional Sessions Judge-I Mohammad Yamin issued notices to prosecution witnesses in Mannu Bheel case on Wednesday, directing them to appear in the court on Aug 26.

The court had earlier issued notices for them on July 1 but they could not be served.

All the accused in the case who were granted bail, including Abdul Rehman Marri, appeared in the court.

A co-accused Choudhry Basheer had died and two others Sher Khan alias Sheroo and Sher Khan alias Sher Mohammad were absconding. Investigating Officer of the case Abid Kaimkhani had submitted a challan on May 13.

Mannu Bheel’s nine family members were kidnapped in 1998 allegedly by a feudal lord of Sanghar, Abdul Rehman Marri and his henchmen.
