KARACHI, July 23: The investigation police arrested another suspect in the murder case of the deputy secretary of the provincial transport department, Agha Dhani Bux Pathan. He was identified as Shakeel.

The police said they also seized the weapon used in the offence. The police earlier arrested the prime suspect, Zeeshan, and recovered the victim’s Prado jeep from him.

The police said suspect Raja Zeeshan had a monetary dispute with the victim.

Giving the details of his arrest, the police said the police retrieved the cellular phone record of the victim and traced Zeeshan. They said the suspect was arrested while he was on his way to Hawks Bay in the victim’s vehicle.

The police said the suspect had replaced the original registration number of the victim’s vehicle with AFR-2008.

They said the suspect Shakeel was arrested on a lead given by suspect Zeeshan. The police said they recovered from Shakeel the rifle that was used in the killing of the victim.
