KARACHI, July 21: Berthing activity was slow as only one container vessel was accommodated berth on Sunday, said PQA press release on Monday.
A total of five ships, Sima Paya, Loe Princess, Ocean Trader, Tian Jin and Golden Accord, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, wheat, project cargo and palm oil.
Cargo handling was slow owing to slow arrivals totalling 12,702 tons comprising 10,350 tons of import and 2,352 tons of export.
Sima Paya, Tian Jin and Golden Accord sailed out.
