OKARA, July 20: Hundreds of traders on Sunday took out a rally to protest unscheduled and prolonged loadshedding here.

The protesters, led by Anjuman-i-Tajran secretary general Malik Hussain marched from Gol Chowk to MCB Chowk, chanted slogans against Wapda and demanded uninterrupted power supply.

They alleged Okara was being discriminated against neighbouring districts where power cuts were of less duration and planned.
