KARACHI: Trauma centres

KARACHI, July 20: Sindh Minister for Health Dr Saghir Ahmed has said that the metropolis needs more trauma centres to tackle an increasing number of such patients coming to various hospitals in case of major road accidents.

He stated this while reviewing the pace of work on the trauma centres being established at different public sector hospitals.

The minister asked the officials concerned to accelerate the pace of work to ensure their commissioning within the stipulated time.

The centres are being established at the Civil Hospital, Qatar Hospital, Sindh Government Hospital Korangi and Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad.—PPI
