KARACHI, July 14: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths on Sunday, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships to load/offload cement, project cargo and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Ten ships, Rosa-M, Sima Pars, Himalaya, Sirios, Navision Bulker, Madonna-III, Bunga Melati Dua, Sea Lion, Sinar Agra and Kaghan, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rock phosphate, steel billet, coal, chemicals, palm oil, furnace oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume 99,353 tons comprising 91,661 tons of import and 7,692 tons of export tonnage was handled.
