KARACHI: Flour millers punished

Published July 14, 2008

KARACHI, July 13: The provincial food department on Sunday suspended licences of four flour mills for not setting up outlets for sale of wheat flour at the government-fixed prices and violating other rules and regulations.

The licences would be restored after a week if they complied with the relevant orders.

The action was taken by the director of food who, along with field staff, paid a surprise visit to the flour mills in Korangi and Site areas.—PPI
