Boy drowns in river

SUKKUR, July 12: A body of twelve-year-old child was recovered from the Indus River on Saturday.

Mohammad Umer of Bunder road in Sukkur was drowned on Friday. He was swimming in the river with his friends when the strong current of water swept him away. The local divers recovered his body after 12 hours of hectic efforts.

In another incident Abad police have recovered a body of an unidentified person from the new bus terminal area on Saturday.—BoC
