Notice issued to former PM

ISLAMABAD, July 10: Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad issued notices on Thursday to former prime minister Shaukat Aziz and some officials of the finance ministry and the Federal Investigation Agency for allegedly filing a false case against the secretary general of the Advanced Education Trust.

The respondents have been asked to submit relevant records to the court on July 23. Justice Manzoor Ahmed Mirza took the action on a complaint of Zahida Malik requesting that legal proceedings be initiated under Section 476 Cr. Pc with 182 PPC for the filing of false case against her.—APP
