KARACHI: KU declares BSc result

KARACHI, July 9: The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the result of BSc (Pass) annual examinations 2007.

Anum Abdur Rasheed of the BAMM PECHS Government College for Women secured first position while Fatima Aslam and Sara Rafique of the DHA Degree College clinched second and third positions, respectively.

A total of 4,092 candidates appeared in the examinations and the pass percentage stood at 40.8.

Summer camp

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has for the first time in Karachi organised a provincial summer camp for talented girl students from across Sindh from July 25 to 30.

A BIEK official said that only those talented, meritorious girl students could participate in the summer camp who had secured positions in their SSC examination in 2007 from their respective educational boards of Sindh and were currently studying in HSC (pre-medical or pre-engineering groups).—APP
