pay-scales REJECTED: The office-bearers and members of the Pakistan telecommunication employees’ union have rejected the unified pay scales recently given by the PTCL management and demanded the PTCL pay scales as had been promised.

According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the joint secretary of the PTEU, Mohammad Ashraf Ghazali, vice-president Mukhtiar Ahmed Bhutto, and other office-bearers rejected the unified pay scales recently introduced by the PTCL management saying that the unified pay scales of PTCL were less than the government pay scales and therefore demanded PTCL pay scales as had been promised since last many years.

They alleged that the poor policies of the PTCL management were responsible for the downfall of the department.

They said that the workers of PTCL were working hard for the betterment of the department but they were being deprived of their just rights.
