Boating in Rawal Dam banned

ISLAMABAD, July 7: The capital administration has imposed a ban on boating and fish angling in Rawal Dam.

The district magistrate Amir Ali Ahmad here on Monday issued an order under Section 144 Cr. PC 1898 prohibiting boating and fish angling, said an official notification. The action has been taken to prevent occurrence of any accident during the monsoon season, it said.

The order has come into force with immediate effect and will remain effective for next two-months.—APP
