KARACHI, July 1: Vinod Das, former Sindh No. 1 and 4th Seed in the 5th STA Development Series Tennis Championship at, created an upset when he brushed aside second seed Robin Das in the semi-final of men’s singles event 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 on Tuesday at PNS Karsaz Karachi according to a press release.

Vinod will face the winner of the semi-final between Syed Zuhair Raza & Yasir Khan in the final. The finals will be played on Thursday at 4pm.

Results:

Men’s singles quarter- finals: Syed Zuhair Raza bt Muhammed Abdul Saeed 6-3, 6-4; Vinod Das bt Fahim Ramzan 6-0, 6-2.

Men’s singles first semi- final: Vinod Das bt Robin Das 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Junior U-17 singles quarter- finals: Rahmat Ali bt Muhammed Ali Zubair 6-4, 4-6, 7-5; Bilal Sharrif w/o Farhan Mustafa.

Boys’ U-13 quarter-finals: Saad Rasool bt Adnan Allawala 8-5.

Boys’ U-9 Final: Omair Mateen bt Muhammed Raza Sawani 8-4.

Ladies’ singles Round-Robin: Sara Ahmed bt Maheen Dada 8-4.
