QUETTA, July 1: Security guards of a tribal elder captured a man who was planting a bomb near the venue of a jirga in Dara Armbai area of Qila Abdullah on Tuesday.

According to sources, before the jirga was convened, the guards of Hayat Khan saw the man placing the bomb and apprehended him.—Correspondent

The bomb was defused and the suspect was handed over to police.
