BATKHELA, June 30: A woman was shot dead by some people at the old bus stand here on Sunday night.
The Malakand Levies brought the body of 45-year-old Razai to the agency headquarters hospital in Batkhela. The woman was later buried in the Mian Sultan Baba graveyard. A cellphone was also recovered from her.
The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained. However, local people said the woman often visited Batkhela and had been seen in ‘mysterious’ places in the area.—Correspondent
