KARACHI, June 28: Three-year-old bay filly Black Velvet, who seized his maiden win of the season under jockey Ghulam Shabbir II on June 8, looks set to overcome opposition and make it two on a trot in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Seven-year-old mare Afroze Jehan who had to be content with fourth position in the last outing should make amends by capturing the day’s feature event, the sixth and last race on card.
