JACOBABAD, June 26: A rally demanding investigation into defective development works by the EDO Works and the DO Roads was taken out on Thursday.
Sindh Taraqi Passand Party started the rally from Shaheed Allah Bux Park with protesters carrying banners, placards. They, after marching on different roads reached the DCO Chowk where a brief sit-in was staged and later protesters reached the press club.
Gul Mohammad Talani, Imdad Talani, Majeed Sarki and Zulfiqar Solangi said millions were spent on development works but all proved defective because of the substandard material used in it.—Correspondent
