HYDERABAD, June 26: The employees of Jamshoro Thermal Power Station continued token ‘tool down’ strike on Thursday in protest against the disconnection of power supply to their residential colony by Hesco on June 23.

Central Chairman All Pakistan Powerhouse Administration Committee, Sajan Panhwar demanded arrest of Hesco officials and provision of power to colony’s residents from Jamshoro powerhouse. He also demanded solution to their problems and warned to besiege 132KV and 500Kv grid stations if demands were not met by June 30.

Panhwar said by telephone that the employees of Muzaffargarh, Multan, Guddu and other powerhouses also held protest meetings at their gates in support of Jamshoro power station.
