KARACHI, June 26: Three ships carrying containers and general cargo and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships, Rhoneborg, Kapitan Byankin, APL Cairo to unload and load containers, Dream Diamond to offload cars, Red Sea Spirit to load cement, Johar to unload crude oil, Athios to offload jet oil and Akti-N to load molasses were accommodated berths.

Seven ships, Taxiarchis, Bunga Delima, Far Singapore, Irene, Orient Stride, APL Jeddah and Kuo Bung sailed out on Thursday, while Rhoneborg, Fabulous, Ninth Ocean and Johar are due to depart on Friday.

A total tonnage of 94,555 tons comprising 45,332 tons of export cargo and 49,223 tons of import tonnage was handled.
