KARACHI, June 25: The ships carrying rock phosphate, general cargo and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Soraya, Rosy Falcon to load cement and clinker, Bunga Delima, Far Singapore, Kuo Hung and APL Jeddah to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of five.

The departing ships were led by MOL Admiration, Ever Given, Soon Fu, Limari and Caribbean Carrier, while Orient Stride, Fabulous Far Singapore, Kuo Hung, Dream Diamond and Kapitan Byankin are due to sail out on Thursday.

A cargo volume of 118,000 tons comprising 50,766 tons of export tonnage and 67,098 tons of import was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Rio Ekuku, Sealo-1 to load 21,000 and 23,300 tons of cement respectively, Vinashin Melody with mogas, Ninth Ocean, Kota Perdana, St. Irene with containers, Orient-2 with rock phosphate, Blue Sky with project cargo and B.M. Adventure with general cargo.
