SIALKOT, June 22: The stage is set for holding the divisional convention of lawyers at the lawns of District Bar Association (DBA) on Monday (today).

Supreme Court Bar Association President Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan and Advocates Ali Ahmad Kurd and Hamid Khan will address the convention while deposed chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry will deliver a telephonic address.

Sialkot DBA President Arshad Mehmood Baggu told reporters that all arrangements had been made to hold this event to be attended by over 3,000 layers from Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts. The DBA president said that a warm welcome would be accorded to leaders of the lawyers’ movement and deposed judges.— Correspondent
