LAHORE, June 21: Promotion cases of as many as 67 DMG and PSP (police service of Pakistan) BS-18 officials in Punjab will be considered by the federal government on June 24.

The promotions from BS-18 to BS-19 will be recommended by the federal selection board.

Official sources said on Saturday the board was going to consider the promotion of a total of 100 DMG and 89 police officers posted all over the country. Of them 35 DMG and 32 police officers were posted in Punjab.

Meanwhile, the sources said the promotion board was also scheduled to consider promotions from BS-19 to BS-20 on June 27.
