LAHORE, June 18: Lawyers are set to stage a rally on Thursday (today) and boycott court proceedings in protest against delay in the restoration of deposed judges.
The Lahore High Court Bar Association, after holding its general house meeting, will join their fellow lawyers from the Lahore Bar Association at GPO Chowk. The office-bearers of the Supreme Court Bar Association will also join in.
The lawyers will march from Aiwan-i-Adl to the Charing Cross along with workers of political parties and NGOs campaigning for the restoration of judges.
The protesters will disperse peacefully after delivering speeches in front of the Punjab Assembly building. — Reporter
