TOBA TEK SINGH, June 12: Four people were killed on Thursday near Pirmahal and Kamalia in different incidents.

Near Arrouti in the Pirmahal area, Shafiq Gujjar of Chak 750-GB was on his way to his village on a motorcycle when a speeding pickup hit and killed him.

Saleem Masih of Chak 221-GB (Samundari) was going to Multan by his car when a cyclist suddenly appeared before his vehicle on Pirmahal-Abdul Hakeem Road.

The car struck against a tree as a result Saleem was killed on the spot while his friend, Faiz Rasool, suffered injuries.

In the third accident, a woman was killed while five women and a minor girl sustained injuries in a collision between a car and a motorcycle-rickshaw on Pirmahal-Kamalia Road. Saira Parveen was pregnant and a resident of Oadanwali locality. The injured were shifted to Toba DHQ hospital.

A youth, Bashir, fell down from a ladder during repair of a tubewell in Chak 715-GB near Kamalia and died on the spot.
