KARACHI, June 7: Minister for Ports and Shipping Qamar-uz-Zaman Kaira has said the government has to maintain a certain level of working relationship with President Pervez Musharraf to run its routine business.

“We need his signatures daily to run government business,” the minister told journalists at the KPT headquarters here on Saturday. When asked whether the Pakistan People’s Party had a soft corner for President Musharraf, he said it would not be practical to think that the government should have no contact with the president.service.—APP
