Inter-club golf tees off today

LAHORE, June 6: The two-day first Inter-club golf event between Lahore Gymkhana and Royal Palm tees off at the former course on Saturday.

Eighteen-hole competitions will be held on Saturday and Sunday each. The clubs comprise eight players each in handicap 0-9 and handicap 10-18 categories.

Lahore Gymkhana:

Handicap 0-9: Adil Jahangir (0), Imran Ahmed (2), Danyal Jahangir (2), Murad Khan (3), Javed Khan (4), Shafiq Bhatti (5), Mohsin Anwar (5), Dr Zahid Khan (6).

Handicap 10-18: Aftab Arshad (10), Mohammad Hassan Saeed (11), Amer Bhatti (11), Hassan Malik (11), Osaid Khan (12), Dr Dildar Hussain (12), Omer Javed Zia (12), Dr Arshad Mehmood (16).

Royal Palm:

Handicap 0-9: Sardar Murad (4), Waqar Saigol (4), Amir Mehmood (5), Col Jamil Khalid (7), Shoaib Shams (8), Abbas Ali Khan (9), Fida Raja (9), Moeen Salahuddin (9).

Handicap 10-18: Tahir Nawazish (10), Shahid Abbas (12), Humayun Mian (12), Sherjeel Awan (13), Imran Farooq (13), Pervaiz Hamid (15), Zafar Haider (15), Dr Ahmed (17).—Sports Reporter
