KARACHI, June 5: Naveen Perwani who captured his maiden National Snooker title two years back was through to the last eight of KC billiards handicap tournament by handing a straight defeat to Amin Delawala in pre quarter-finals at the KC premises on Wednesday.

Naveen was home 100-80, 100-64 in the best of three match including a break of 49 in the second frame.

However, Vishan who lost the title battle of the 32nd National snooker championship to Naveen made exit by going down 1-2 to Uzair Dawood. The latter after losing the opener 51-100, recovered to win the next two frames 100-94, 100-71.

Naveen and Uzair were joined in the last eight by Mustafa Dada, Ahmad Saleem, Salman Merchant, Qasim Kamani, Asad Kamani and Ebrahim Ahmad.
