NOWSHERA, June 2: Security staff deployed around the Jalozai refugee camp here was removed on Monday following the vacation of the camp by Afghan refugees.

Besides 22 transformers, 12 pylons and other electric equipments were handed over to Xen Nowshera, Noor Mohammad.

DPO Nowshera Mohammad Yameen Khan flanked by FC commandant and other officials told newsmen here that all the vacated buildings in the camp would be demolished as these could be used by the criminals.

The DPO said that he had sent a letter to the UNHCR in this regard, adding all the refugee camps including Kacha Garhi and Shamshatu were flattened by the UNHCR and Afghan Commissionerate but the Jalozai camp was yet to be flattened. — Correspondent
