KARACHI, May 30: Three ships carrying containers, palm oil and coal were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, two more ships with containers and coke also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, CMA CGM Puget, CMA CGM Turkey, Shad Wan Island, Wales-II, United Star, Sky Chemi, Navajo Spirit and Venus, were busy in loading/offloading containers, cement, coal, palm oil, crude oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 57,914 tons comprising 48,105 tons of import and 9,809 tons of export tyonnage was handled.

Qem Star, CMA CGM Turkey and CMA CGM Puget sailed out.
