ISLAMABAD, May 27: Autoplus software, developed under Pakistan Software Export Board’s industry automation programme, was operated successfully at a private manufacturing concern on Tuesday, said a PSEB spokesman on Tuesday.

Autoplus is a comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for automotive parts and accessories units, developed by a firm Acrologix.

The cost-effective solution would automate the processes and procedures involved in various departments of an organisation through various modules. The software was run for the first time at Plum Qingqi Motors Ltd, which was established with a large Chinese investment in private sector of Pakistan.

PQML manufactures motorcycles and 3-wheelers.

The PSEB project was launched in 2004 to tackle the challenge of automation in various industries contributing to the country’s economic growth.
