KARACHI, Oct 23: Agriculture Development Bank of Pakistan (ADBP) face an uphill battle to avoid defeat after being forced to follow-on against Habib Bank on the third day of the Patron’s Trophy Grade-I tie at Sheikhupura Stadium Tuesday.
According to details available here, ADBP were restricted to 318 all out in their first innings in reply to Habib Bank’s 547 for six declared.
By close of play, ADBP, facing a deficit of 229, reached 25 for no wicket in their second innings.
Earlier, opener Inam-ul-Haq top-scored with 76 off 185 balls and tailender Rao Iftikhar Anjum contributed an unbeaten 50 off 92 deliveries after ADBP had resumed on 30 for one.
Left-arm duo of paceman Kabir Khan and spinner Abdul Rehman shared six wickets between them for 51 and 44 runs respectively.
